Welcome to my new Blog Design!

I know it's a little different but hey~that's me!!!
Summer finally arrived here in Northern Ontario and I wanted to 'get my blog dressed' for summer.
I really wanted something clean, but I also wanted all sorts of paint blobs and colour!!
The blobs were my way of representing creativity at it's best with paint flying and ideas galore!
Hope you like it, I really do and I know the white background will make it easier to read posts!

Just not tonight! LOL!! I had good intentions to get my cricut out and unpack all my stuff so I can make something pretty....
I got hooked on my computer!!!
That's right, I spent the last 2 hours catching up on everyone's blogs....so you should all see little notes from me :)
Did I make anything tonight? No, but I think I spent my time well (big grin) :)
OOPS!! I wanted to mention that if ALL you ladies weren't so DARN talented I would have been off this computer a long time ago and just MIGHT have made something out of paper instead of pouring over all of your wonderful and beautiful creations!

WHAT ON EARTH???

That is the question of the day....

What on earth would possess someone to come into my driveway, directly in front of my living room window, and STEAL my license plate?! To top it off they thought they would EGG my car for good measure~and they took the time to put the screws back into my jeep where the license plate was~gee how very thoughtful.

I feel so frustrated, my house is on a well lit street, as a matter of fact there is a street light directly above where my car was parked. Talk about BOLD, disrespectful and violating. I work so very hard to acquire the things I have, and yes they are ONLY things, possessions....they are not a human life.... but I think it is the PRINCIPAL of it all. At the end of the day it's about respect, treating people decently and doing the right thing. Clearly these theives (I'm assuming there's more than one here) have not learned these important life skills and values..... what a way to start a Monday....

I guess on the lighter side it could have been much worse, I was just reading a post on the MB where a woman's window was completely smashed for no apparent reason! That is just awful!

Well, I feel a bit better, needed to get that off my chest! Think I need to make some crafty things tonight to cheer me up!

Back in Business!!!!

Holy moly, my husband is just the best, hands down, he wins....
For those of you who are interested, my IMac is toast, that's right, the Hard Drive is fried. The tech guy couldn't get anything off of it. It's going to be quite awhile before I see my baby again :(

My husband felt so bad for me as I had just bought a Wacom Intuos 4 graphics tablet to use with my new Photoshop program before my Mac died. Here is a pic of my new toy :) I STILL haven't had a chance to use it yet!


OOPS!! Like I was saying, I got distracted by the tablet he he he, my sweetheart went out and bought me a laptop!
He said I looked lost without my computer, so he drove over an hour away picked this pretty little thing up and brought it home! I was so surprised I cried! I think I'm still in shock :) Here are some pics of my new little baby :)

It took me a day or two to figure out how to use the migration assistant, turns out I needed tech support (figures) and I was able to get all my data off my time machine and put it on my laptop :) OH HAPPY DAY!! I was so worried I had lost all my photos~most recent were my little girl's ballet recital photos, gulp.... so glad I have them all! :)

So this post is to say THANK YOU to my very wonderful husband who insists on spoiling me, and to let you guys know I'M BACK!! I missed so many of you! Be talking with you all soon :)

My computer is gone....it turns out it wasn't anything I had done-thank goodness!
The mac guy said that my RAM was fried and that was why my PSE6 would keep crashing on me.
Due to the ram not working when I tried to reinstall my operating system (leopard) and tried to archive my stuff that is why computer stopped working and I lost EVERYTHING on my hardrive.

THANK YOU to everyone for your help and suggestions- and to all those ladies who left me awards :) thank you so much!! But I'm going to have to wait to post them as I don't have a mouse to copy and paste :)
