My Mom's first Experience using my Cricut Expression!!!

So, my mom is in town visiting with us.  She's been curious about this 'cricut' machine I keep raving about.  So I got out all my crafting toys and we set to work on making a card.  My SIL is so pregnant and due any day, we thought: "let's make a baby card".
Wait! I don't have the New Arrival Cartridge~NO PROBLEM!  We dug out DoodleCharms and cut out the cute little baby face.  My mom picked out all the paper to co-ordinate, we used a brad to hold it all together, and gave that little cutie some earrings :)  Her face seemed a little bland so we added chalk to her little cheeks for some colour.
I introduced her to the CUTTLEBUG!!  She just fell in love with that little machine!  I think I know what to get her for Mother's Day!!!!

GAMASOL~Can't believe I was intimidated! Ha!

So, after viewing all of the work on the Cricut MB involving the GAMASOL technique~I JUST HAD TO TRY IT!!!  So I did.  Not bad for the first time, I will be doing this again, it was so neat seeing the colours blend~Magoo

This half flower is intended to be a pocket for a tag in a challenge that I entered on the MB
Here is the tag all comfy in it's pouch :)
OK, not sure what happened to the colour on these pics, they are SO washed out!  I will try and take new ones tomorrow.

On a Roll with Wild Card!

This is the Owl Card and envelope from the Wild Card cartridge.  I made this little girl after watching the PinkStamper's video on her blog.  That lady is SO talented and so wonderful to share all her information with everyone!  This card was fun and turned out a little girly~just right for the occasion!   ~Magoo

Another Birthday Card

Lately it seems Birthdays seem to be a motivating factor for me to make a card...
This was made using Storybook~Plantin School Book~and my Cuttlebug!  I am just so in love with those butterflies...any butterfly actually!! grin :)  I also used Swiss dots to give the background that something extra!  All the layers were pop dotted so this card ended up being quite thick.  This was fun to make and got me into spring mode~Magoo

First Wild Card! Thanks Robyn!

A big thank you to The PinkStamper!!  Thanks to Robyn I was able to figure out Wild Card!!  This is the very first card in the booklet.  I found the hardest thing for me was to pick out paper!  The layered flower is from Walk In My Garden.  This was a birthday card for my co-worker, I had all the ladies at my work sign instead of stamping a sentiment on the inside.  Thanks for looking~MAGOO

Cuttlebug+Cricut= Easy B-day tag!!!

I had to make a last minute birthday tag and pocket for a little girls birthday party.  I just love how the CB adds so much dimension to a plain old piece of paper!
I'm not sure I can do a single project without my trusty Cuttlebug!  The little girls mom just loved the homemade tag~the daughter?  Well, lets just say she had more fun opening the gifts :)

SUGAR SWEET PAPER TREATS!

I am so excited~and so humbled to be offered a spot on the Sugar Sweet Paper Treats design team!! Thank you Cheryl :)  I can't wait to see what we come up with!  This is my first time being part of anything like this so needless to say: I AM SO STOKED!  Way to go ladies and gents!

Just not enough hours in a day....

So here it is, almost 10 o'clock and all the pics I wanted to post today are going to have to wait :(

I spent the last hour just trying to figure out how to get a clickable link to come up on my signature for the Cricut Message board.... I DID IT!!!! WOO HOOO!!

Honestly!!!  Some days these computers have just got me beat....gotta go now~work tomorrow :)

Stay tuned!

Ok, so it's really late....gotta get up early 5am.  I will post more pics tomorrow~takes way too long :)

Having way to much fun!!!

Got carried away with this cart~decided to try and make the biggest tag pocket I could on a 12x12 piece of paper.  I'm not sure why I went with black, could be it was just the next sheet on top!! LOL.  The little white box was a suggestion for a friend's up coming wedding as a favour box perhaps?  We'll see.....

Bring on the Bling!!

A little while ago I got a great deal on the whole set of Martha Stewart Glitter!!
I love shiny sparkly things~so this was  a no brainer for me :)

Gotta LOVE the butterfly from the Home Accents Cart, so much fun with this project!

Tags, Bags, Boxes and More...

Wow!!  I'm so impressed :)
Well, now you are all in trouble~guess I'm going to post as many pics as I can now!! LOL :)

So these are just a little project I worked on with someone special ;)
We had a lot of fun and I just love TTBM anytime I need a box!!

First Post/First Pic!

Okay, so I'm not computer savvy AT ALL.  But all this blogging nonsense has got me curious....
Here is my first attempt at my first post and more importantly my first chance to share with you my first creation using my cricut!!
