Glass Etched Ornament

Oh, finally......I got to sit and make a quick project. This one is from the very talented Christina from 'Creations with Christina'. She was a guest designer on the Christmas with the Cricut Blog not that long ago. i LOVED her idea with the ornament etching so i tried it tonight!!

After I got over the fear of etching.....it wasn't so bad! I'm hooked LOL!

I added a little bling in the middle~gotta have a little bling at Christmas!!

I'm going to give these as gifts packaged in my FANCY BOXES all decked out for Christmas!! I will post pics later when I have all of them done (and their boxes too!).

I just wanted to share my first one~I'm so excited!!!!

Isn't that snowflake so pretty?? I just love it! Thanks so much CWTC girls!! you are all an inspiration!!! HUGS!

Crystal this is adorable, I would love to do some but I am a bit like you were - scared of trying to etch. Maybe now I will have a go as you have inspired me with your fabulous creation.
Have a great Christmas and New Year and I look forward to seeing what you create for us next year.

Help Mya: I have tried to download your directions for the ornament boxes, but nothing shows up. And when I tried to get the file onto the gypsy, I got update 0155, and you know what that means. I even tried to open it with DS, NO LUCK. Wanted to use the boxes for the ornaments that I made. Any Help?

I haven't tried the etching yet, in fact I haven't tried anything with my cricut that didn't involve just cutting shapes with paper lol. Have you played with the vinyl much or ever cut fabric with yours? I am so scared I will hurt mine, haha!! My mat lost it's sticky sooooo fast! I have to go get another today!

Anywho, I'm babbling! Your ornament looks Beautiful!!!
