Fancy Custom Gift Box using Gypsy

Well folks, this is it~my first gift box made entirely from scratch! I wasn't sure how it would turn out. Sometimes my projects fail miserably in the execution stage. Fortunately this one was a success!
I started with my design on my gypsy:

Then onto the cutting stage, SEI paper CUTS LIKE A DREAM ON THE CRICUT!! LOVE, LOVE LOVE THAT PAPER!

Add a little glue, a little bling, a handmade flower on top and here you go: A gift box you would be proud to give to anyone :)

I've included the step by step in the post below after having several gypsy users ask for the details. Enjoy!

Love this. Thank you so much for the instructions. DD has the G and I'm afraid to play with it! I WILL be doing this though.

Also loved your challenge entry. I wanted to vote for you, but DD entered too---didn't seem right not to vote for her as she lets me play with all her toys!

Great blog also.

WOWWWWWWWWW...its amazing! I cant believe you just came up with that...you are so talented. Thanks for sharing. I havent updated yet, just in case, I am waiting a little while...but when I do..I would love to try this. Would it work on a 12x12 mat if I only cut the bottom first, changed paper and then cut the top?

I enjoy reading all your comments on the MB! Thanks for sharing your blog button too...its super cute!

Have a blessed day,
Sarah
